emergence greetings

I'm from the Pueblos of Acoma and Laguna in New Mexico, USA and have been drawing since I can remember and never imagined I’d have a line of cards. The line happened by chance beginning with sending  Christmas cards yearly as an opportnity to share a personal message and let the receiver know they are thought of. One year I couldn't find any cards I liked and took pen to paper. I still am a little shy about calling myself an artist because for so long, my art has only been a personal catharsis and kept in a box in the closet. I still am super thrilled when my art happens to stop people in their tracks for a closer look or when kids say “wow!”.
